Spoon Rest with Handle
The bright yellow hibiscus, also known as Pua Aloalo or Ma’o-hau-hele, was designated as Hawaii’s official state flower in 1988. This showy, tropical bloom has a storied history intertwined with Hawaii’s culture. Additionally, on the beautiful island of Kauai, you’ll find white hibiscus ("Koki'o Ke'oke'o") blossoms adding to the island’s natural beauty. These delicate flowers are a symbol of the island’s lushness and vibrant spirit.
Our pottery features original designs by Kaua’i artist. Each piece is hand painted by our team, using lead free glazes and fired in solar-powered kilns. The Banana Patch art studio, in the small town of Hanapepe, is happy to contribute to keeping our Hawaiian islands green and beautiful!
*Each made-to-order piece is unique and will have slight variations in color and/or pattern from the pictures shown.

Was at the studio in Hanapepe and didn’t buy it then along with some coffee mugs. They spoke to me for months and had to go online and buy them. LOVE THEM
