In Hawai'i, the monstera plant is quite common, thriving in warm, humid, partially shaded gardens and tropical forests. It loves to climb trees, and its leaves are also used in tropical flower arrangements. Although not native to Hawai'i, it has naturalized in some areas and become integrated into Hawaiian culture. Its beautiful foliage is deeply connected to the Hawaiian landscape.
