Elevate your drinking experience with our Barrel Mug.
The bright yellow hibiscus, also known as Pua Aloalo or Ma’o-hau-hele, was designated as Hawaii’s official state flower in 1988. This showy, tropical bloom has a storied history intertwined with Hawaii’s culture. Additionally, on the beautiful island of Kauai, you’ll find white hibiscus ("Koki'o Ke'oke'o") blossoms adding to the island’s natural beauty. These delicate flowers are a symbol of the island’s lushness and vibrant spirit.
Our pottery features original designs by Kaua’i artist. Each piece is hand painted by our team, using lead free glazes and fired in solar-powered kilns. The Banana Patch art studio, in the small town of Hanapepe, is happy to contribute to keeping our Hawaiian islands green and beautiful!
Each made-to-order piece is unique and will have slight variations in color and/or pattern from the pictures shown.
For best care, we recommend hand washing and no microwave use.

Beautiful!
Love these mugs!
The new coffee cups are AWESOME!
Always simply gorgeous. I have been enjoying purchases from Banana Patch for many years and each creation is so special.
Had I had enough time to shop & ask if you ship, I would have purchased 2 more barrel mugs. It never crossed my mind. I only focused on what would fit in my carryon! Loved your shop & would love to consider the purchase of 2 mugs to be shipped to Montana, USA soon. Thanks so very much!
